Hello Loves!

I want to welcome you to my little corner of the world. I am an occupational therapist, piano teacher and creative who is passionate about living life to the fullest! For me this means creating art, spending time with my loved ones, exploring the world, health and wellness…among other things. I hope to share my passion and love with you through this blog.
Here are a few of my passions to start off with:

Jordan and I being silly at a hockey game.

It is so important to share life with other people. I come from a history of being painfully shy and depression, so spending time with other people was not always my default mode. Now, it is incredibly important for my happiness. Alone time is great but I love surrounding myself with positive people who challenge, support and love me. This is where I THRIVE.

Charlie the hamster.

In addition to spending time with people I love to spend time with my little animal family. We have a dog named Lily, three cats named Chanticleer, Ophelia and Cleopatra, two chinchillas named Armando and Princess Peach, and two hamsters named Roscoe and Charlie. Animals love you on your best days and equally on your worst. My pets add so much love, fun and joy to my life.

Beautiful and delicious food from Bluestem.

If you know me you know I love good food. Exploring new restaurants and dishes is a chance to expand, grow and learn through a primal need and artistic medium. It is so important for people to have a positive and meaningful relationship with food. Between constant dieting and mindless junk food eating we have lost some of the beauty and connection delivered through food. Let’s bring it back together!

I hope you enjoyed this little glimpse into how I try to live my life to the fullest.
Now I want to hear from you! What does living your life to the fullest look like? Who is imperative to share your life with? What are your favorite hobbies? Tell me in the comments below.
