Easy Ways to Boost Your Happiness

This is the last video in the series all about happiness, and today I am just going to bombard you with ideas on how you can easily boost your happiness.

Maybe you’ve felt stuck, or had high expectations of yourself around creating happiness. Well, today I’m here to help you have a resource you can always come to when you feel like you need an easy boost to your happiness and you just don’t have the brainpower to come up with something.

  1. Go for a walk
  2. Tell someone you love them
  3. Journal about a positive memory
  4. Get a manicure/pedicure
  5. Smell some citrus essential oils
  6. Call someone you love
  7. Snuggle with a pet
  8. Try out some yoga poses
  9. Put on some uplifting music
  10. Get a massage
  11. Cook yourself a meal
  12. Read an old favorite book
  13. Watch comforting TV, such as cartoons or comedy
  14. Have sex
  15. Get out an old favorite board game
  16. Put on an outfit that makes you feel confident
  17. Write a list of 10 things you are grateful for
  18. Find a dance tutorial online and start dancing
  19. Send someone words of encouragement
  20. Go for a long drive
  21. Meditate
  22. Practice smiling (even if it feels silly)
  23. Take some flattering photos of yourself
  24. Plan a vacation
  25. Volunteer at a local charity
  26. Make a list of things you are looking forward to this next year
  27. Watch your favorite stand up comedian
  28. Spend some extra time grooming yourself today
  29. Hug someone you care about
  30. Do a random act of kindness for someone
  31. Play on a swing-set
  32. Write thank you cards to your loved ones
