Easy Ways to Boost Your Happiness

This is the last video in the series all about happiness, and today I am just going to bombard you with ideas on how you can easily boost your happiness.
Maybe you’ve felt stuck, or had high expectations of yourself around creating happiness. Well, today I’m here to help you have a resource you can always come to when you feel like you need an easy boost to your happiness and you just don’t have the brainpower to come up with something.

- Go for a walk
- Tell someone you love them
- Journal about a positive memory
- Get a manicure/pedicure
- Smell some citrus essential oils
- Call someone you love
- Snuggle with a pet
- Try out some yoga poses
- Put on some uplifting music
- Get a massage
- Cook yourself a meal
- Read an old favorite book
- Watch comforting TV, such as cartoons or comedy
- Have sex
- Get out an old favorite board game
- Put on an outfit that makes you feel confident
- Write a list of 10 things you are grateful for
- Find a dance tutorial online and start dancing
- Send someone words of encouragement
- Go for a long drive
- Meditate
- Practice smiling (even if it feels silly)
- Take some flattering photos of yourself
- Plan a vacation
- Volunteer at a local charity
- Make a list of things you are looking forward to this next year
- Watch your favorite stand up comedian
- Spend some extra time grooming yourself today
- Hug someone you care about
- Do a random act of kindness for someone
- Play on a swing-set
- Write thank you cards to your loved ones
