Inspiring Women – Solara Sophia

The inspiring woman being featured this month is Solara Sophia, here is her story:
Tell us how you are living a life you love?
Today, my life feels purely and utterly magical, like a story ripped straight from the pages of a fairy-tale! I come and go as I please and I have created my dream schedule and income to maximize creativity, growth, and impact. Most of my days are spent creating valuable programs and packages for my clients, jamming with them 1 on 1, listening to high vibe music, preparing delicious, energizing meals with my hubby, taking my crystal collection to the waterfalls by our house to cleanse and program them, and usually an epic and soul infused book is involved… the list of awesomeness is endless!
It hasn’t always been like this, though, the first 28 years of my life can be described in one word: STRUGGLE. Much of my life has felt like a push, like a tumultuous swim upstream against a strong and unrelenting current. I had to break free from an intricate web of generational patterns and outdated belief systems to get where I am today. When our soul calls, we have to listen, right? Otherwise it gets downright painful to stay where we are, stuck in unfulfillment. Becoming an entrepreneur has been the best decision of my life. I chose to dance through the fire so that I could create a freedom lifestyle that allows me to do ALL the things I Love while empowering other women to step into their own passions and purpose and do the same.
What hurdles came up on your way to getting there?
I feel like a better question would be what hurdles DIDN’T come up! It has been a wild, winding road riddled with self-doubt, worry, anxiety, sleepless nights, pressure to perform, external criticisms… Creating a life I love wasn’t solely about financial freedom, it was about total liberation and creating space for my soul. It has been and will continue to be a spiritual journey.
In the beginning, there were months when I worked 90-100 hours a week without earning a dime in my business but I did it because I felt the call and I believed that my dreams would come to fruition. I trusted that the Universe would materialize my desires and it has. My greater mission and my desire to serve has trumped every single obstacle. Every stumbling block is a part of the dance and each one has lead me to greater personal development, expansion, and fulfillment. Now I can clearly see how every experience, positive or negative, was designed to further my progress and understanding.
What has been the biggest help in living a life you love?
Self-care, presence, and Love. Creating rituals that light me up has been HUGE. Meditating, speaking my mantras and prayers out loud, celebrating and honoring my body through dance and organic nutrition, and spending time immersed in nature have all helped me to stay nourished and grounded throughout my process… just writing about it feels good! Staying completely centered and present in the now moment and not allowing my mind to wander too far into the past or future has enabled me to release my anxieties and fully embrace what is right in front of me which has led to higher levels of quality and productivity in my life, relationships, and business. I’m also a big believer in leading with Love. When I lead with Love, everything that I put my head, heart, and hands to succeeds beyond my wildest expectations.
What is the best lesson you have learned along your journey?
Hands down the greatest lesson for me has been trust. Trusting the Universe and trusting my process. Knowing that every step is contributing to my evolution and serves a larger purpose. Everything is perfect and is exactly as it should be, there are no mistakes. I think it’s important to know that every choice we make {whether it is perceived as ‘good’ or ‘bad’} is serving us in the moment we make it. Every choice helps us to learn and evolve which is why there is really no such thing as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ and why there’s no need to get down on ourselves if our outside reality isn’t a picture perfect reflection of sublimity. We are always growing.
What would you say to someone who feels like living a life they love is impossible?
Whatever we believe is possible and whatever we believe is impossible, is true. It really all comes back to our beliefs, our power to choose new thoughts and beliefs NOW is our power to shift and change every facet of our life. We live in a sea of infinite possibilities and the Universe is ready and willing to grant our every desire. Ultimately, we are the masters of our destiny and what we choose to believe is what shapes our physical world experiences and determines our reality so I say DREAM BIG, GO BIG, LIVE BIG! All things are possible for you, all you need to do is believe it.
How are you continuing to ensure you love your life every day?
I stay connected to Spirit. I view my thoughts as my paintbrush and life as my canvas, I am constantly co-creating my world in tandem with the Universe. Keeping my stream of consciousness aligned with my desires and what I want to create has really helped me to stay in the flow and connected to inspiration and has given me the energy and resourcefulness to act on my ideas and move in the direction of my desires. Self-Love and self-care are my numero uno TOP priorities because I know that in order to serve my clients and the world fully, I have to first Love on and nurture myself so that there is an abundance of AWESOME to spread around and share.
