Today’s Affirmation 16
Today’s affirmation is “I have the power to do anything I put my mind to.”
Your mind is a powerful tool at your disposal. The use of affirmations themselves is evidence of the strength our thoughts and words have over the actions that we take, our perception of the world, and our emotional state. Consciously choosing to see something a different way can be the difference between being happy or sad, angry or content, on any given day.
There are many goals that are never followed through on. People make excuses of why it didn’t happen. They will try to give up because it is too hard, too much work, too much time, etc., but what is really lacking is the motivation and the power pushing them to overcome those variables. Your mind is that push, that motivation, that drive behind achieving goals. When you put your mind to something you do have the power to follow through.
Repeat this affirmation today and whenever you feel like giving up on a goal or a dream. When things feel too hard, remind yourself that you have the power, put your mind to it, and stay focused. Share this affirmation with your family and friends, and together we can remind people of the power of their mind.
